I am having trouble collecting the red shards. I am guessing you get them by catching Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, but i cannot find them anywhere. Usually roaming legends have something on the map in the dex, but this game doesn't. Are there any tips on knowing at least SOMETHING about where to go...

I'm guessing that Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, are wandering legends, are there any mechanics that assist the player in finding them?

There is a pond of water in the starting town that you cross and then go up with rock climb, there you will find a cave. In this cave, you will find the Lake Trio.
