Based on the backtrace and error message I think it has something to do with the region not being properly defined, so it should go away once you've provided all of the information needed. Let me know again if it still doesn't work?
Whoa that's odd?? I didn't touch any of the scripting for the UI when I worked on it, I literally just replaced the graphic files. Could I check what your process for setting up the Pokedex was? I assume you're setting up a custom region, did you define everything associated with it in the PBS...
