Also known as "This dude is gonna make a whole script before pasting a single word in the pbs" because yes, thats why this script was born
I mean look at this
Toxapex LEARNS Recover at lvl 20, but the move tutor that i made that teaches Recover refuses to teach it the move, why? Because the move is no in the "TutorMoves" section of the pbs. And yeh, i could just copy and paste it there, but there are some other pokemon and moves that suffer this fate... and i have terrible memory to remember wich could be tutored and wich not. So thats why this script was made.
The script comes with 3 settings (wich can be turned on or off individually, depending on your preference):
Level Expert: Does what the example with toxapex does. Checks the move you are tutoring in the list of moves the pokemon can learn by level, and if it can learn it eventually, it allows to teach it. Even if its not in the "TutorMoves" of the PBS
Happy Toxa-noises
Egg-move Connoisseur: If the pokemon, or its baby form, can learn the move you are tutoring by egg-move, it allows it
In this example torchic can learn night slash by egg-move, and combusken, being the evolution of torchic, can also learn night slash
Second Opportunity: If the move you are tutoring could be learned only by the pre-evolution of a pokemon, it allows it
In this example, only Shroomish can learn Spore by leveling up, so if you didn't level up shroomish to level 40, you missed Spore on breloom... welp, not anymore. Other usefull examples of this could be with pokemon that dont learn more moves after evolving with a stone... or teaching beedrill harden if thats what you want
Move Master: When a switch and the setting is on, all pokemon would be able to learn all moves teached by tutor or TM/HM, except eggs and shadow pokemon
Everyone can learn Spore now. Broken on its own, but useful if you want to make a new once-in a life time universal move or something similar, or simply if you made a new move for a tutor and feel too lazy to add to all of the tutor_moves in the pbs lol
Like I said, is more of a QoL script to save you some time of having to add moves in the pbs. Not ground breaking or anything but my lazy side is happy. And yes, it works with TM/HMs as well.
