DPPt Exterior Ground Tiles

Tiles DPPt Exterior Ground Tiles 1.0

This resource consists, or mainly consists, of tiles.
This pack contains ground tiles from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Versions, that all have been ripped using Spiky's DS Map Editor (SDSME). It's currently in version 1.0, and will get new updates when new tiles are ripped.

This pack is divided into 2 folders : one for DP tiles, and the other for Platinum tiles, since a lot of them have been modified with Platinum.

What's in this pack (v1.0):
  • Grass and Tall Grass tiles
  • Path, Grassy Path, Dirt Path, Concrete Path and Sand tiles
  • Flowers (both the animated ones from Floaroma Town and the static ones)
  • Roads from Jubilife City, Oreburgh City, Eterna City and Canalave City
  • Twinleaf Town's and Route 201's snow patches from Platinum
  • Eterna Forest Tiles from Platinum (normal tiles were used in DP)

What will be or may be in this pack:
  • Roads from remaining cities
  • Puddles
  • Ponds
  • Maybe other things, as I progress into the ripping

What won't be in this pack:
  • Trees
  • Moutain tiles
  • Buildings
  • Sea / Ocean tiles (but these have a chance to still be part of the pack if I manage to find their full animation, I don't want to add static water)

Quick warning: A lot of the tiles come in the 4x4 format, much like in SirMalo's HGSS for RMXP ressource. To avoid running into non-aesthetic texture, I higly recommand you to follow his tutorial you can find just below :

How to use: Each specific element / group of elements comes in its own .png file. As such, you will have to create your tileset yourself. This might sound a bit annoying, but I feel like it's better to arrange your tiles the way you want, and in the case you don't want to use a specific tile, it will be easier than if everything was already set in one file.

To go with this ressource, I really recommand you to check Pokemon Gaia Tiles from zetavares852 DeviantArt (a full credit list is available on his profile page)
Credits
  • ChromusSama / Shir0n (not necessary, since everyone can rip tiles, but if you want to credit me, both nicknames are fine)
  • Spiky (creator of SDSME, not sure if credits are necessary there, but I put him in the list anyway)
  • Nintendo - GameFreaks - The Pokémon Company => original graphics for both games
