(It's not gonna look this nicely, you'll need to adapt the UI! I just used a smaller item for the screencap)
So, bit of backstory! The Global Link/Dream World has some fun artwork for the various items you can obtain through them, and they look nice! Unfortunately, for whatever reason, both Bulbagarden and Serebii decided to upload resized versions of these images instead of just uploading the best quality and adjusting the display on the page???? And I couldn't find any direct rips of them. So I had to just work with these. Bulbagarden's are in the 90x90 folder, Serebii's are in the 80x80 folder.
Of the two, Serebii’s pack is definitely the better one to use- everything was already on a standard canvas size, it seemed to be downscaled better, and items are scaled better relative to each other. I was concerned about the possibility of lost quality, though, so I left the Bulbagarden sprites in just in case.
Some notes about this pack:
- My screencap above is a bit misleading- the images don't go smoothly into vanilla Essentials, their canvas size is too big. (I considered doing a 48x48 version of this pack, but honestly, once they're downsized to that scale, they look pretty similar to the normal sprites) You'll need to have some custom UI to display this right.
- Due to the nature of the Global Link/Dream World, there's no art for any key items or TMs in there. (This pack is going to be more useful for a non-traditional game than a standard game, unless you make art yourself in a similar style.)
- Additionally, there's no sprites for Slowpoke Tail, Gen 4's Mulches, Odd Keystone, Apricorns, Mail, the X items above 1 (for example, there is X Attack, but not X Attack 2)
- Because of how the sprites were resized by these sites, items that should be identical might be a little off relative to each other. (Gems, plates, drives, memories, nectars, mega stone, z-crystals, wings, etc.) I tried to make them line up as best I could.
- Like my SwSh items pack, there's a folder for the files named based on ID number and based on internal name like in v19.
- These use pre-Gen 8 naming - the Leek is the Stick, and the Feathers are Wings
