These are some development leftovers of mine from when I was still developing Pokemon Beastly.
That project is unfortunately no longer a thing, but I do still hold a lot of fond thoughts for the sprites I made for it - I put a lot of work into those! It'd be a shame to see those sprites go to waste.
So, I've opted to bundle all of the item sprites I have and let people use them for whatever work they want to do. Do whatever with them! You can edit them to be more like base Pokemon, etc. I may work on this more in the future, but maybe more as a fun side project of mine. This also corresponds to the 16 color limit on older Nintendo hardware, meaning you can load it into a romhack without any problem. (In fact, that's what it was made for.)
