- EV's will remain the same for the same Trainer Type and Evolution Line
- EV's will grow as their Pokémon level up
Whenever a Trainer's Pokémon has no EVs declared the game will automatically generate them. This will automatically follow the EVs available and scaling that you have set.
The EVs of a Pokémon from the same Evolution Line will stay consistent on the same trainer type.
This is because a unique seed is generated based on the Pokémon ID of the baby of the evolution line, the Trainer Type ID, and the Player's ID. This allows for a Pokémon to increase in Level and increase the EVs it had when you previously fought them.
See the example below;
1st: Start a fight with [RIVAL1,Blue], his Level 10 Pidgey, Rattata, and Bulbasaur have their EVs generated
2nd: Start a fight with [RIVAL1,Blue,1], his Level 25 Pidgeotto, Rattata, and Ivysaur have their EVs generated. Notice how they are an increased version of the last EVs.
3rd: Start a fight with [RIVAL1,Blue,2], his Level 50 Pidgeot, Raticate, and Venusaur have their EVs generated. Notice how they are an increased version of the last EVs yet again.
