Arcky submitted a new resource:

Arcky's PBS Editor - Makes editing PBS Files a lot easier!

Hey there, it's me again. Yes it's Arcky! I'm back with yet another resource and this time it's not a Plugin for your Essentials Project but a standalone program that will make editing PBS Files a lot easier.
Below a few screenshot of what to expect in this editor, not everything is shown as it's a bit too much to show all here. Enjoy!

Installation:
Installation is very easy, once you've download the 7z file, extract it using any extractor tool and run the...

As someone who is constantly making PBS changes as I build my game, I can not wait to get home from work and try this out!

For the drop down box, would it be possible for it to remember our prior selection? When we get to things that are way down the list, having to re-scroll all of the way back down can be tedious.

All dropdowns (or most of them) have a search option, so you can just type in the option you want to look for.

I tried to install it on Linux, but I'm having trouble. It shows a bit of an opening and then it closes.

Well it doesn't support Linux right now sadly, the setup is a .exe file which is usually windows only.

I've run into a bug. When I try to update the ability of a Pokemon form from the Gen 9 pack it gives an error when trying to compile.

I would need to see the entire entry of this Pokémon form to see on which field the error occurs.

It's also difficult for me to tell what exactly went wrong by a crash log from essentials. With the error you showed me I can't know what exactly was wrong other than a parameter being wrong formatted in the PBS file. Also mind joining my discord server? Communication will go a lot smoother rather than here on Eevee Expo

Idk if this is a bug or not but it just causes confusion either way.

When using the PBS editor for Map Metadata, every single map just has "Outdoor" set to "On". I can click it off and Save it and it says it saved successfully but if I click on another map and then go right back to it, it goes back to showing "Outdoor" as "On". I'm pretty sure it is still set as "Off" but it's still very confusing and causes me to click on it to re-set it to "Off" every single time.

Oh I'll look into it, it might indeed be a little bug, thanks for reporting it

There's this weird issue where after I use the editor the move Decorate has the "Ignores Max Guard" flag duplicated which causes an error. It was easy to fix but I don't get how it could happen. Other than that its a cool resource.

I wouldn't know either, normally the editor doesn't put duplicate flags. This could be a bug with the compiler

This will be fixed in v1.0.1 of the editor, which I'll release shortly after writing this message. It's a really good bug you found as it appears to be the same for any fields using the same value as "Outdoor" (the toggle switch to either set it "On" or "Off"). Thanks again for reporting it.

Arcky updated Arcky's PBS Editor with a new update entry:

v1.0.1: Bug Fixes and Improvements

Improvements

  • Added warning messages incase some Settings are missing for any reason from the Config file. This should never be the case unless you've manually edited the Config File outside of the editor but it'll not prevent a crash as well.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the Pokémon and Pokémon Forms Page to crash when a loaded pokemon has an Evolution Method that hasn't been added to the Evolutions in the Config file. It'll now...
