Thank you very much for your patience and support over the last 6 months; the translation team (Zeppho, Doctor Locke, Xariod) worked non-stop, so huge thanks to them too!

Beta 2.0.2 available.
Changelog:

Fixed an issue regarding Dawn Stone not working on Kirlia;
Fixed an issue regarding Link Stone not working on Haunter;
Fixed an issue regarding Brave Bird having less PP than intended;
Fixed an issue regarding shiny Pokémon appearance after trading with the bug catcher at the Krabby Club;
Fixed some typos/errors;
Fixed some movement permissions;
"Waterfall" added to Whiscash, Quagsire and Poliwrath's learnset.
Fixed an issue regarding traded Pokémon obedience;
Removed the use of Field Moves (Waterfall, Dig etc etc) from the Pokémon Menu;
Added Farfetch'd (Galar) and Sirfetch'd.

Hello hello, V2.0.3 is out, here's the changelog!

Fixed an issue regarding Salamence's cry;
Fixed an issue regarding Electivire's learnset;
Fixed an issue regarding Tinted Lens description;
Fixed some typos;
Doduo, Mr.Mime and Houndour added to Talrega's wonder trade.

I also added an evaluation questionnaire for Beta 2.0 in the first post!

Last but not least... I decided to replace the Explorer Kit with the Adventurer Codex, a useful item similar to the Pokédex!
This item and all the things I'll be posting from now on will be available in version 2.5 (release date TBD).

Hello hello, it's time for a huge update a.k.a. "What did Paco do during all these months?"

A NEW POWER...

Plusle & Minun (Nyx), Kecleon (Ethan) and Mawile (Olympia) will unlock a new power after a certain event of beta 3.0: Battle Bond.

Etrian Variants are regional forms based off Etrian Odyssey's enemies and playable classes; here's a sneak peek!

This is just a fix/QoL/world expansion update, so you won't be able to progress with the main story, buuuuuuuuut there will be a lot of secondary things to do and more locations to explore, pinky promise!

3 new secondary islands: Aqua Resort, Jagged Mountain and Faraway Island;
21 new regional variants: Rattata, Raticate, Sandshrew, Sandslash, Krabby, Kingler, Smoochum, Jynx, Ponyta, Rapidash, Aerodactyl, Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Stantler, Poochyena, Mightyena, Barboach, Whiscash, Relicanth, Mismagius;
Added lore text on the Third Stratum Stele, in Etria and Etria's Graveyard.
Revamped Pokemon icons;
Revamped overworld graphics;
Revamped overworld sprites;
Mood-accurate portraits;
Pre-battle mugshots for major boss fights;
New move tutors;
Initial Stamina value: 10 -> 20;
Buffed Stamina value: 20 -> 40;
It's now possible to change game difficulty whenever you want by interacting with the poster at Nyx's house;

Hello hello, I'm planning to release v2.6 in a week or so!

Changelog

Fixed an issue regarding shiny encounters becoming Bad Eggs after being captured (GOD AT LEAST I HOPE SO);
Fixed an issue regarding callAsm and battlestring functions;
Fixed an issue regarding Choice Scarf not boosting the user's speed;
Fixed an issue regarding Technician not boosting low BP moves;
Fixed an issue regarding Boomburst not being recognized as a sound-based move;
Fixed an issue regarding Sandy Shock's stats;
Fixed an issue regarding some learnsets;
New Pokémon added: Kleavor (have Scyther reach level 35);
New abilities added: Moxie, Defiant, Competitive, Skill Link;
New moves added: Shell Smash, Quiver Dance, Stone Edge, Stone Axe (70 BP, 95 Accuracy high-crit move, Kleavor only);
Pokémon gender ratio has been set at 50% (except for male/female only species);
Learnsets and abilities have been updated (for example Butterfree now learns Quiver Dance, Furret has Fur Coat etc etc);
New items added: Eviolite, Rocky Helmet, Flame Orb, Toxic Orb, Life Orb, Assault Vest, Weakness Policy, Light Clay;
Sitrus Berry's effect updated: it now restores 25% of max HP instead of just 30 HP;
Pokéball containing TMs are now yellow;
New move animations for: Mysticalfire, PowerUpPunch, Aura Sphere, Head Smash, Iron Head, Poison Jab, X-Scissor, Icicle Crash, Drain Punch, Shadow Sneak, Aqua Jet, Bullet Punch, Shell Smash;
Bag, TM Case and Treasure Pouch have now a better UI;
Reworked TM case: you can now see which Pokémon are compatible with a determined TM before teaching it;
You can now see your team and current game version in the "Continue/New Game" screen;
Hard Mode bosses updated with new held items and moves.

I’m happy to hear that! If you want to start your playthrough right now know that savefiles are compatible between versions! (Unless you’ve already completed the current beta, and in that case… thank you!)

hey,where do i get the item for strenght or strenght because i checked everywhere and i´m stuck

Started yesterday and the effort by this team of yours is very very visible. The game is polished w a lot of thought and love put into it. Thank you for such a refreshing twist on this franchise. One of the best one in recent years or at least in my opinion. Im just wondering how to trade certain Pokemons like Magmar n Elekid. Do i need the electirizer, if so where can I get one?

Another thing, is there any repercussion if i were to bench plusle n minun? To the plot or anything will I miss out on anything?

Edit : Umm, i cant open pokemon summary. It crashes the game. they bg and frames are there but all the text is gone and itll cause it to crash when i press back. I restarted to see itll still happening again. Ill attach a picture if it happens on my 3rd try later.

You have to complete a sidequest in Azure Cave (4th Stratum). After that, you'll receive the artifact "Magna Vis", which is basically a key item that replaces Strenght.

Thanks a bunch for the compliments! Anyway, if you want to know how to evolve your Pokémon you can just check the documentation (link in the first post). You'll need an Electirizer in order to evolve Electabuzz into Electivire, yeah. You can get one by completing a quest in the Rade of Carcino (4th Stratum) or by buying it in Napier's Shop (Aqua Resort, Naval exploration).

Hi, thank you for the fast response, ill attach the image if that helps but to answer :

1) Im using a laptop to be precise but the game and overall quality is pristine its just this minor bug that wont allow me to learn new moveset and such so i dont think its my laptop.
2) VisualBoyAdvance, I know uve listed the 2 emulators to play this, but ive already had VBA so i thought it would be fine. Maybe it was the emulator?

After the image im attaching it, i cant go back or do anything though the audio will continue normally. But itll turn black screen. Thank you again :)

Ooooh I get it, the problem is that VBA's emulation is not accurate enough, so your game might freeze or crash randomly. That's the main reason behind my recommendation.
You should use the latest version of mGBA instead.

Tried latest mGBA upon your reccomendation. Issue resolved and luckily it can read the save data so i dont need to play back from the start. Thank you !!!

Update time! Update time!
We're planning to release Beta 3.0 by the end of June/beginning of July, here's what we accomplished so far:

► FIFTH STRATUM: ABYSSAL SHRINE

► BYE BYE, FREEZE! SAY HELLO TO FROSTBITE!

We can all agree that Freeze is a garbage status condition, so we decided to change it and use Frostbite instead.
Frostbite is a status condition from PLA. Similar to a burn, Frostbite inflicts damage equal to 1/16 of the target's maximum HP every turn. Pokémon with Magma Armor, as well as Ice-type Pokémon are immune to this status. You can't inflict Frostbite in harsh sunlight.
Frostbite will decrease the target's Special Attack by 50%.

► ETRIAN VARIANTS - SECOND WAVE SNEAK PEEK

This is just half of the second wave, so more forms are going to be added in the future.

► BEFORE STARTING YOUR PLAYTHROUGH...

When starting a new game, you'll receive information about recommended emulators and what's going to happen if you don't use one of these.

► GAME NOTIFICATIONS

You'll receive a notification whenever a Stratum is cleared, a level cap is increased etc etc

So, I found a strange bug that happens when minun hit's level 10 and learns a move I think quick attack, and hitting yes bugs out and you see the delete move screen buuuut there are no moves or words hitting anything resets the game back to the starting screen.

Same thing with Plusle
