I figured it was an error that caused the Pokemon to keep repeating its move, and it's not just in Frozen Trail. The ice gym leader's Baxcalibur is also prone to repeating the same move.

Not game-breaking, but this message does show up every time I take down a trainer's last Pokemon in Frozen Trail.

I got permanently stuck on this particular tile in Chilly Storage since I accidentally quicksaved while I was mashing buttons to try to get out.

I don't think so. I redownloaded everything and it worked fine now. There was no changelog for patch 7.8 so I couldn't even tell if the Ditto event got fixed or not.

Either it's a bug or that's how Protean worked in Gen IX.

I'm on the latest version (v7.8) and and the Ditto event at the Meacrim Gym is still broken.

Loving this game so far in spite of some nasty bugs. I do have a suggestion, however, to ease the gameplay experience, and that's adding convenient healing spots in some routes (like nurses). It's so easy to get bogged down by the many trainers and wild Pokemon on the way to the next town, and...

Found a typo.

After I obtained the Red Flute in the Swamp - Cave area, I decided to go back into the chamber where the door leading to the flute was found and ended up softlocking at the entrance because the player took a step back and got stuck inside the wall.

How do you access the save file for this game? I'm trying to create a backup in case anything goes wrong, and I don't see the file in anything under my Saved Games folder.

The game actually has a level cap, which you can see on the pause screen. The cap increases for every badge you get.

A trainer's Surskit in Furcht Forest has a typo. There are probably other cases like this, too.

Sure. It's in the forest area. When I exited the gym, the man asking for a keycard is still there and blocks the entrance.

I entered the gym after the keycard event, but once I headed back out, the event reset itself and now I can't get back inside. Was this intentional?
