Using the suggested v18 changes gives me a NameError. Instead changed: meta = GameData::Metadata.get_player($Trainer.character_ID) to: trainer = $Trainer if !trainer meta = pbGetMetadata(0,MetadataPlayerA+trainer.metaID) I'm relatively new to coding, so... apologies if this causes errors...

I had to fiddle with the order of things in the event window before I got a result I liked. Try darkening the screen, running the script, transferring the player, and finally un-darkening the screen.
