He just downloaded it last night, so it's definitely the most up to date. Is it possible that the Monotype challenge only works by itself? Because I believe he had the White Out and Improved Trainers on as well

He's playing on a Windows PC so it shouldn't be that. Didn't test with Torchic. For him, the menu never came up to select a type.

Ah okay, I see. Thank you for responding so quickly. If possible, a way to check your current Ranger quest without having to cancel it would be nice, but I understand if it's low priority compared to other issues (or just not being worth the amount of work it would take to implement).
