Still getting the error, only versions I played were 1.5 and 1.6. It also gives you the option to nickname a pokemon if you catch it in the safari zone even if you have force nickname on but the crash occurs regardless no matter how the fight ends.

There also seems to be a problem with no item challenge when npcs tries to use items i think? Pretty much only get this on boss fights. Was getting it last patch but didnt think much of it because it affect anything at the time. It skips the turn whenever you get this when the boss tries to use...

not sure where to post it but while wondering around rustboro i got softlocked above the bottom left lamp below the devon corp building. Controls just stopped working with the exception of being able to toggle pokemon follow
