All text fixes will come, but not soon. Every gym badge that you get unlocks a new character on that place where you found the one who sells the serious mint, and the first of them is the other mints seller.

You can get 4 badges, but the Main Story reaches way further after you get the 4th badge and there are some "post beta" events.
