Hate to add to the pile of technical questions, but I'm getting this error message on startup. I tried renaming the backup .exe and using that instead, but nothing happened. :/ Hopefully it's just user error on my part lol

Let me know what you think by the end! I don't have a concrete timetable on updates but I hope to keep it going through completion.

Since this game is using an Essentials version earlier than v21 the battle AI is going to be very basic unless the system is overhauled manually. Earlier versions select moves pretty randomly, placing just a bit more weight on more powerful options, if I remember correctly.
