I love the game and now that you just updated us with more features,i cant wait for version 5.0.0. The game is fun,the story was well made and the surprise final boss was a good final touch for those who actually fought him and im not referring to the mayor but thats for the newcomer to find out

I also have the same problem but you can just buy rare candy from the candy guy in the umbal hotel,like other hotel in the game for 10,000 pokedollars.

Try using your phone,go to chrome and type joiplay.cyou and download the Joiplay apk and RPG Maker Plugin for Joiplay.Then go to https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/run-time-package and download the RPG Maker XP(the middle one on the left side) and download pokemon tgom, download ZArchizer in google app...

Try deleting and reinstalling the game,if that doesn't help......sorry

Maulybe your team is more than 2 pokemon thats bot your gyms specialist and if thats the case however,they need to learn your gym sinigture moves if not then you can't get into the gym

I don't know either because i never meet the glitch before.Maybe try going to the district and to your first right, you'll see a guy.He has a quest for you about a ghost thats actually a girl looking around.Try that i guess and if not,the i don't know.Hope this help but if it doesn't,sorry.
