You should just be able to start a new game, and when you save, it replaces your old save file. That's always worked for me, at least.

Earthquake and Poison Jab are not TRs in this game. They're TMs, and they're only obtainable if you choose the corresponding gym type, since they're the 'signature move' of those types.

Zorua can be found in the very beginning area, New Day Plain, but only at night. If you need to, you can change your computer's clock to sometime after 7PM, and you should be able to find them. They're kinda rare, but not 1% rare...

As mentioned, Earthquake is only available to a Ground gym leader. And no, none of the starters are available to catch in the wild - the few that are (such as Cherubi, Onix, Aron, etc) have alternate versions you can catch, with the original versions being starter-only.

Swablu and Altaria are not in the game. Sadly, no Absol, either. It's one of my favorites, too.
