Hello!
My name is TiltedLurker and I am the co-director of Pokémon Malice. A Pokémon fangame being made using Pokémon Essentials. It was a project that originally started as a joke but now it’s a real deal. Right now only the director of the game knows how to do pixel art so I had to look for more pixel artists to lift stress off his shoulders.
I’m searching for:
Sprite artists to make Fakemon, overworld sprites, and Trainer Sprites
Tile set artists
Composers
About the game:
The champion is kind of stupid and will do literally anything to get stronger. they recently beat the old champion. that will have happened about a month before the game takes place.
the old champion was doing research on the regions history. he will be the bad guy
the 6th gym leader has a gang but he isnt a bad guy. he helps you against the bad guy
so when the new champion beat the old champion, the old champion didnt take it well. he went on a full rampage as revenge against the new champion and caused a lot of destruction with his pokemon. when he was caught his punishment was to release his whole team.
the old champion is still salty. he thinks its not fair how the people of the Trava region just basically tossed him out and stopped caring about him when he lost. thats why he got so pissed and wanted revenge.
you go through the game collecting gym badges and fighting your rival. The rival would be one of the only people in the region who still looks up to the old champion. you would also occasionally fight with the 6th gym leaders gang but they arent actually bad guys. They’re like team skull but slightly less bad.
by the time you get to the 6th gym you need to go get the 6th gym leader to fight him. hes in a sacred temple or pyramid that only gym leaders and other important people are allowed in. the 5th gym leader gives you permission to go there to get him so you can fight him. when you meet him he is taking an artifact from the temple. he recognizes you as someone who has fought his gang and tells you that the artifact he has is gonna help the old champion with his research. then he leaves and you go fight him for the gym badge and the game continues.
You gain the info that the old champion wants to do something bad with the artifact. the old champion wants to revive an unknown legendary he found in his research to finally get proper revenge on the new champion
because you and the 6th gym leader are the only one who knows about it you need to go stop him. the 6th gym leader really emphasizes how no one else can know about this because if word gets to the new champion, she will try and get the new legendary for himself because shes a strong stupid idiot that only wants to get stronger. But thats bad because dangerous legendary shouldnt be awakened because danger
So you two go to fight him, but you are just a little late so the legendary awakens. The 6th gym leader tries to hold off the legendary while you fight the old champion. The old champion has a new slightly weaker team then he should because they made him release his old pokemon. You beat him because you are the main character but the legendary beats the 6th gym leader. To stop it from going on a rampage you need to beat or catch it. Then you beat or catch it.
Then you go victory road and fight your rival again and you become the new champion.
Pokémon Malice will feature a new form of Pokémon called Malicious Pokémon. Malicious Pokémon will kind of be like regional forms, they’ll have new stats and new designs. But the twist is that they’ll be new forms for the NEW Pokémon instead of older Pokémon. Malicious Pokémon have mysterious connections to the main legendary of Pokémon Malice and will be used by the old champion and other strong trainers.
