Back in an older version of Deluxe, I remember I had to go into the Deluxe scripts to change the position of the HP bar for my UI since it overwrote the base Essentials script, but I can't seem to find it in the newest version's scripts anywhere. Where is that handled?
There's absolutely no reason to make these so hard when we just started introducing these games. I spent 7 hours working this out and gave up because it was too ridiculously hard. Maybe spend more time on balancing and making fair puzzles, please and thank you.

Thing about joiplay now is that with games made in v20 (which most games gaining traction now are made in from what I see), MKXP makes it incompatible with joiplay, so unless joplay is updated to work with MKXP or vice-versa, I don't think it'll be too helpful, especially in the long run as...

Long response incoming because as someone who made a lot of mistakes and had a lot to learn, I have a lot to say about these questions.
I stayed in that "new creator" phase for way too long and it caused me to scrap my game and start from scratch multiple times, and I only just now feel like...
I make no promises but I can certainly try to make it EBDX compatible once it's out.
As for specific type introductions, it's possible but not with this plugin. You'd probably have to look into how the shiny animation works and then check for the Pokémon's type and call an animation.
Original script by bo4p5678, updated to v20 by me. Since bo4p has seemingly left and took all their plugins with them, I decided I'd keep their plugins alive and bring them to newer version of Essentials (and add onto some of them if I feel like I can make useful additions)

I'll go ahead and confirm for anyone wondering that it works for v20, however the text is misaligned on the location window, so if you want to fix that, you also need to change the -44 to a different number in the pbDrawTextPositions on line 37, anything around -35 seems to be the perfect value
